Thursday Grandma Jackie headed in and Elle decided to up the fussy level (just to be sure she knew I wasn't making it up!). Elle was pumped to see Grams though, and kept her on the go with our first trip on the Blue line, as we ventured out to the City of Chicago Parking Office to keep our visitors cars safely parked with new permits! Elle did great on the ride, so we even stopped for a wonderful brunch at Lula Cafe in Logan Square. We took the bus down the road back to our place to max out Elle's mass transit experience. Elle decided to crash at 4pm after her long day (the swaddle might have helped as well) and slept almost all the way to 11pm, with a lil snack around 7. Too bad mom of course had to stay up to watch Greys and Lost, and then Elle kept her up the rest of the night.
We had a blast with Grandma Splinter again on Friday. We had a mellow morning of cuddling and thunderstorms, and then we headed out to pick up a few things at Right Start and...drum roll...the new bouncer from GROW. Check out the Right Start purchases and bouncer...
Elle also had her first restaurant trip on Friday night to celebrate Wade and Jason's 26th bdays! She did great and loved the loud Latin atmosphere at Cafe Bolero. She had a great night sleeping as well! So Friday was a great day for Elle. It has been great to get out and join the outside world more these past couple days and we have had a lot of fun!

Grams Splinter has had a LOT OF FUN with Elle and family these past few days too! Grams loves Elle's spirit and sees a precious little soul emerging who will definitely know how to speak her mind! xoxoxo Grams
