31 cent scoop night!

After two fun-filled days with Grandma Blass, Elle and I were on our own for the first time yesterday.  "the diva" was on her best behavior for Gran, however she does always seem to make sure I am on my game in the world of motherhood.  (while I don't think I can even have game in something so new!!)  Elle definitely has her mother's personality though, she is pretty hard to please (at least Wade says I am like that)!  She goes right along with the meaning of her name..."FIERCE".  Ha!!  She's pretty cute all at the same time though, so its hard to get too mad!

Anyways, Elle and I got into a pretty good rhythm yesterday consisting of feeding, shushing, swaying, swaddling, mom trying to get a few things done while Elle snoozes...and repeat!  The day actually went by fairly quickly for the first day alone!  We really enjoyed our lil selves and mom did get a few practical things done, so that was nice.  Elle decided that she would start with her dinner time fussy routine...so once Wade got home, we decided we would try the BOB out and venture out for 31 cent scoop night at Baskin Robbins!  Elle is not so sure about the BOB, while mom loved it!  It is so easy to maneuver and super light.  Ice cream was great and it was so nice just to get some air.   

All of the fussing for Elle must have really tired her out though because she was a great sleeper last night!  She of course still woke up for 3 night feedings, but at least she went right back to sleep!  Grandma Jackie is here today.  We will share more soon.
