35th Week

So here we are Saturday, March 1st!  Time really flew by those first six months of pregnancy.  But these last two here have trudged by a bit for mom.  Although things have been very busy!  Here we are though just 5 weeks away from seeing the lil one.  So we are trying to savor the moment and get things ready here for baby.

Mom had a rough month in January for sure, with sleeping now becoming an issue with the size of the lil one!  The belly has been holding her back from the things she used to be able to do with ease and that is a lil blow to her ego!  She started prenatal yoga in mid Jan to help her relax and connect with baby!  She has really loved it
so that is great.

Mom and dad took a lil time away from the crazyness a couple weeks ago to reconnect or take a "Babymoon".  Wade is ready to have his non-pregger "hormonal" wife back, but they were able to purify and rejuvinate themselves at the spa to take on the rest of this harsh Chicago winter and final weeks of pregnancy.
Last week baby was welcomed to the world by future aunties and cousins on mom's side with a shower at Grandma Mary's.  The shower was lovely and it was fabulous to see everyone!  Mom was so happy to see two of her Cincy friends that made the trek in as well.  Baby really got a lot of the essentials and now mom needs to organize everything and make some decisions on diapers.

Yesterday mom and dad visited Prentice Hospital for a tour and final baby class!!  Jenn's heart was put at ease by the spaciousness and "less hospital" feel of the new Northwestern Women's hospital.  It is very pretty and the postpartum rooms do include plenty of space for mom, dad, baby, and visitors!!
Have a great weekend and we promise to publish more in these last weeks here.
