29 1/2 weeks

I went from being barely preggers with my last post to being seriously preggers now at 29 1/2 weeks!!  Wow how these last few weeks have flown by, I need for these next 10 1/2 to go a bit slower to prepare for baby!!  The holidays were such a blur and now baby will be here before I know it!

I really can't complain about how the pregnancy has been going.  Baby has been growing more and more every day and is so super active!!  I love it because I know that baby is doing good and kicking around in there all the time!!  I am feeling good.  Not sleeping great with all the weight on front.  I feel like I cant get comfortable very well, but I am still walking every day and doing prenatal yoga at least once a week so that is great!  I think my favorite pregnancy moments are at night when baby is so active, Wade and I really have fun just playing and talking to the lil guy!

I have been reading a ton of books about pregnancy and parenting.  My favorites so far are probably "raising baby green" and "birthing from within".  I worked on my registry and list of must haves for baby and am gradually making necessary purchases, including my new rocker!!  Which I totally am loving!   We have taken our birth class, which was taught from a natural perspe
ctive.  We learned several different birth techniques and ideas. Wade learned good massages to practice as well.  We have also taken Sling and Diapering classes, although I am still deciding on which sling and cloth diapers I will be going with!!  So much still to do...but today is a prioritizing and goal making day!  This MLK day...
Today I am just reflecting on where we are here almost 30 weeks in, what baby, wade and I have been through, and whats to come (grad school applications, birth plan making, pediatrician choosing).  Hopefully I will come to some great realizations here to share soon!
Much love...
