Brookfield zoo and family breakfast

Impromptu night over at my parents on Sunday night in sugar grove. Probably the last time we will be there with the move on the horizon. Was lovely to wake up to singing and dancing to Whitney Houston hits with sis, hubby and kids!

We hit up the Brookfield zoo for Freeze Day with Jason and Karol afterwards. Love them. Avery unfortunately was feeling a bit needy which made for a long afternoon.

The kids absolutely adored the polar bears and giraffes. Elle keeps saying she loved the rhinos, but she actually only saw them briefly. I think she is still inspired by Martha waking up the rhinos.
