I had high hopes of posting this earlier. But after turning in my dissertation on Friday, apparently my immune system was weak enough to catch the bug Wade had during the week. so my enjoyable Saturday of lasagna making and enjoying with friends, turned into a major nightmare. Yuck! At least Michaela, Tom, and new baby Charlotte were able to enjoy some lovely lasagna! I on the other hand ended up not so well and in bed all weekend now. Yuck yuck and yuck! Feeling a bit better on this Monday morning, thank god, because I was not at all about to miss my flight home tomorrow to get some R&R with the family!! So that is our story here. Again in sick recovery mode, resting today. Well Elle doesn't really know what resting means. So I am attempting it with a high energy 1.5 year old...right...We will leave for the airport tomorrow at 2pm. We are all packed and I am just hoping I can make it to the luggage carriers with Elle on my own. We will see!! Wade will come and get us from the airport on the route back.
We are excited to celebrate all when we get home and be officially done with working on the dissertation! Here are a few recent pics from the last 2 months, although I must say there is not much. Wade forgets, and I was a bit busy...hugs...
