We had a lovely New Years Eve with the extended Blass - Ulrich crew. We had a mid-day spa. Jimmer treated us to a lovely meal at Niko's. Crawford-Blass-Splinter hit the Poseidon Adventure at the Music Box in Chi. We counted down to 12 with the movie countdown...complete in our cruisewear. New Years Day Wade and I departed on a getaway to a friends wedding in Lake Geneva while the kids stayed with mum and dad. Not a long 'time out' for us, but an overnight as such, our 1st since the two little gems arrival some almost 3 years back. Hopefully we can take an extended weekend the two of us sometime a bit sooner than another 3 more years. As such was a lovely way to bring in the New Year.
