Speed of Sound...

Okay so maybe not that fast. But I really don't know where the last month has gone. Avery is now one month old and a whopping 11 lbs 6 oz. Yeah we can think of a few new nicknames for him now...Tank...Actually his grunting habits have coined him the nickname 'Smokey' for you lost fans out there. Anyways we have been so blessed by the amazing support we have had from family and friends for the past month! I have had a bit of a rough time recovering from the section. I have been a lil less than chipper and yeah rah go life, so sorry for all of those who have been putting up with my antics. But thank God (literally) that I have been feeling more myself here in the last few days. I am hoping my fight with mastitis is behind us and we are on the road to healing. Avery continues to deal with jaundice so we will be getting him checked again next week. My body seems to slowly be reviving. We said goodbye to today to Wade's parents after a great week with them and now embark on life on our own as a family of four. My mom graciously stayed with us and literally carried us through the first 3 weeks with Avery. My dad also made a guest appearance for a short visit and we so very much appreciated him spending time with Ellery as well!! I don't know what I would have done without all of our family's help. Now here we are 4 1/2 weeks out and still hanging in there! Wade is now off for this week of Easter and we are so thankful to have some time to prepare and adjust for how life will be over here in London the 4 of us! Hopefully I will be taking more photos and blogging more now that things are getting into a rhythm (ha I am being sarcastic there).
