Its a chilly chilly Tuesday morning here. I am still getting organized, does that ever happen with a lil one? We apparently brought a lil of Chicago to London over the last few days, with snow accumulating to the highest levels in 20-30 years. Yes, like Seattle, London did not know what to do! Transit shut-down, schools shut-down, businesses shut-down, and we played! I took Elle out in the snow for the first time and she definitely was not thrilled about it! Too cold she said!
She is taking steps after Freddie and chasing him around. We enjoyed a brisk weekend hitting up the markets. Found some goodies off of Brick Lane, along with the Rootmaster! Its an old double-decker Route Master turned Vegan/Sustainable/Foodie hangout! Fair priced and fair trade...mmmm....yummy! I just found out recently that London is the Number One Fair Trade City in the World, with its Co-op scheme leading the way in the world of fair tradeness...they also are making leaps and bounds in sustainability...can we be conscious consumers in a recession...we think and hope so! We will see!
So after a long weekend, Wade is back to work today. Elle and I are off to see about repairing our first flat in the BOB, hopefully researching some for my thesis, rhyme time at the library and catching up on some emails.
